Hi, I'm Allison. Let's meet the world.
Growing up in Central Ohio, Allison Espinosa could always be found climbing trees, camping, canoeing and hiking. She has lived an adventurous life, from sleeping in a teepee on the Blackfeet Reservation in Montana to studying archeology in Alpine, Texas and traveling as a foreign exchange student to Costa Rica. She even fulltime RVed for six years with her husband Delfin.
After losing Delfin in 2021, Allison taught internationally in Bahrain, Myanmar, Laos and Thailand, becoming a well-known teacher for neurodivergent students. As an autistic traveler who also lives with epilepsy and dyscalculia, she knows firsthand how hard travel can feel when accommodations are kept secret from the people who need them. She opened La Frontera Travels so that no one has to be afraid to travel. The name honors Delfin and the Big Bend of West Texas, the last frontier. La Frontera means the frontier in Spanish.
